Description: Fragments of evidence collected in July-Sept 2021 from a 30Km radius of the last known location of the town that sank under the weight of it’s own prosperity
The Sound of Sinking:
As the town began to sink, Unknown Citizen 35, sitting on their front veranda enjoying the passing of an evening, had the wherewithal to pull out a recording device and capture the event. If you listen carefully you can hear the exact moment everything disappeared. We recommend allowing the sinking to play as you view the other evidence - it really does set a great tone.

“and then the cracks started to appear.”
Diary Fragments:
Scraps of diaries found in an old suitcase at the bottom of a dried up well. The different handwriting suggests more than one owner- perhaps a family, house-mates, a group for friends or just a kleptomaniac with a diary fetish.
Diary 1.
“Thursday, I think it’s Thursday, maybe it’s Friday.
Locked up but can’t stay still. Diving into projects without thinking. Projects that don’t need doing. But I just need to keep busy doing something. Doing something that doesn’t require thinking.
Yeah, pretty sure it is actually Thursday today. And then Friday tomorrow.”.
Assorted Maps and Diagrams
Because of the sinking event people started keeping records of their movements throughout the day. The inhabitants would share these maps with loved ones to let them know that they were, where they had been and that they were, for the time being… safe.
